Near the Domaine Sainte Véziane, Pézénas the city of Molière and Boby Lapointe.
The historic center of Pezenas is a must, with its narrow streets and listed façades. There are, for example, stone details on doors and windows, wrought iron balconies and beautiful stone stairs. There are many houses from the 16th to 18th century, including the Hotel Jacques Heart, Hotel Carion Nizas and Lacoste Hall among those of particular interest.
The city is also renowned for its antique and craft shops, called 'shops'. In July and August, you can stroll and visit the craft shops in night on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Pézénas remains a city theater where many performances are there in good weather. It is also attached to folklore festival 'foal' during Mardi Gras.
Many restaurants will welcome you and you will discover the ‘petits pâtés’, a regional savory specialty and the berlingots Pézénas, sweet gluttony.
